Vinciamo is my “little buddy”. His name means: “We are Victorious in Courage” or “We Win Courage” in Italian. Courage is something we always can use more of, especially during the time we were naming Vinciamo.
We unknowingly at the time, selected him from a litter of ten right out of the incubator. The first thing that caught our eye’s was his big muscled thighs, and his super curly coat. Therefore, we chose the “Gold” color collar for him, and he’s lived up to it. As the litter grew from crawling to standing to wobbly walking, and eventually running galloping tackling chewing romping and gaiting. His gait was eye catching certainly to us and the many people that came to evaluate the litter. It was natural for him as he chose to gait more than gallop like his litter mates.
Everything from his playful personality to his birdyness/drive to his beautiful head and overall Conformation and physical agility was developing well. So he was certainly in the lead as our pick of the litter, but not until we got the puppies on solid ground were we able to distinguish their Conformation, and specifically Vinciamo’s gait. That propelled him to the top of our list, and from that moment on, he was our’s.
To sum him up, Vinciamo is quick to warm the hearts of everyone he encounters with his adorableness. He can be a determined Chessie, but he always tries to please, and has an ever loving personality. He has been making good training progress on his potential for the four venue’s that he competes or will compete in below. This is very evident with his record breaking speed for us (Concordcreek) of achieving his Conformation Championship.
